    Martina and the Ogre

     

    ​Sweet little Martina, is a happy, spirited girl with a physical handicap and a secret. She wants to have a picnic by the lake with her family. There is only one problem. Under the bridge lives evil Ego the Ogre. Martina overcomes her handicap, teaches Ego her secret and frees the village from his wickedness. The entrancing illustrations by nationally recognized Czech artist Mirek Raboch light up the page with color and movement. Martina’s tale of compassion and courage will inspire the hearts of young and old for generations to come.
